Oronoco Bay Park is a 5.08-acre park located along the Potomac River at 100 Madison St. in Alexandria. The historic park was once inhabited by Indians in the 17th century and later owned by Standard Oil Company. The City of Alexandria acquired the land in the 1980s and developed it into a park.
Montgomery Park is a small 2.01 acre park located in the ‘backyard’ of Port Royal Condominiums at 901 N Royal Street. The park is located on a site which was purchased by founder of Alexandria, John Alexander in 1669.
