Children of Powhatan Place in North Old Town gather for a photo prior to trick-or-treating at a neighborhood Halloween gathering on Oct. 30
Halloween 2020 in Alexandria was a quieter affair than in pre-pandemic days that saw families and neighbors mark the holiday with socially distanced gatherings. A rare Blue Moon illuminated this Halloween.
As per the Alexandria Gazette Packet, "The residents of Powhatan Place in North Old Town were among many to host outdoor community gatherings for children to show off their best superhero costumes as families across the city enjoyed smaller celebrations."
